Swiss Midcentury Table Alarm Clock by IMEXAL, 1950s

Midcentury table alarm clock by IMEXAL, made in Switzerland, c. 1950s. Beautiful dore metal case. Dore is a blend of silver and gold, much more expensive than gold plated brass. Thick beveled front glass covers the square silver dial. Dore 3d numbers stand nearly 1/2” off the dial, casting various shadows throughout the day Features an 8 day movement with alarm. Alarm is set via the knob on the back and does not have an alarm hand on the front of the clock. Align the mark on the knob with the desired alarm time. Marked “IMEXAL 8 Days Swiss” on the dial (see photo). “METAL DORE FAB SUISSE” on the bottom of the base. Excellent condition. Original movement with 15 jewels has been serviced and it runs perfectly.
