Tormach 24R Fixture Tooling Plates

Fixture & tooling plate for Tormach 24R CNC routers. Available as a set of three or a single fixture plate. Measurements: 26" x 51.5" x 0.92" (overall set size) or 26" x 15.56" x 0.92" (single plate size). Plates are matched to +/- 0.001" on the nominal 0.920" thickness. Plate set has approx. 1,700 fixture holes that are spaced 1.25" on-center. Each fixture hole is tapped 1/2-13 UNC and bored for 0.500" pin. The single plate option is for the center fixture plate in the set. Note that this option may only mount on the center vacuum pad on machines before S/N RA10037 as the M8 mounting threads are not identical between the three vacuum pads. RA10037+ machines utilize the machine's t-slots, and so the plate may be installed in any location. Available in 6061 aluminum. Note: due to variations in machines and mounting options, mounting hardware is not included. Please see below table for recommended hardware. Fixture plates do not use locating pins in vacuum table for alignment. (QTY24) Note that older machines utilize the M8 mounting holes in the machine frame while newer machines utilize the t-slot extrusions built into the vacuum bed. The 24R may have up to 0.02" of height variance across entire table. Fixture plates will inherit this flatness variation. Read more about our parallelism tolerance in our Fixture Plate FAQ. Plates are intended to mount on top of Tormach's vacuum table; mounting directly to machine frame may improve flatness however RA10037+ machines will require a custom mounting solution to do so.
