Pickup Trucks were developed as a durable and reliable replacement for hauling goods by horse and cart, and they quickly became invaluable to farmers, businesses, and the military. In this whimsical glass ornament, a trusty old pickup is used to bring home the family Christmas tree. 2.25 X 4 X 1.5 (HxLxW) Each figurative glass ornament is hand crafted in age-old tradition using the same techniques that originated in the 1800's. Molten glass is mouth-blown into finely carved molds, before a hot solution of liquid silver is poured inside. The ornaments are then hand-painted and glittered in a series of labor-intensive steps to achieve the beautiful creation.
