We have combined natural gray fibers using a mix of short and longer staples to create a prefelt that works great for pelts. Your prefelt will be in the range of 20 - 22" square and weigh approximately 3.75 ounces. This house made is prefelt is thicker, more coarse, and more substantial than the DHG merino prefelt, not quite as fine/soft as the Imprimatura line, and thicker and less coarse than Flat Matt.
