Very similar to modern tweezers, the ancient tool was shaped from a single piece of iron bent at the center to create twin prongs. Medium: Dimensions:  Length:  2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) Condition:  Very minor loss to the prong points, otherwise intact and in very good condition. Provenance:  Austin private collection, Naples, (ca. 1770 - 1830), thereafter private English collection.
