Its tank, front, door, cover, and backsplash are made of stainless steel—a resilient metal that resists rust and is simple to clean. To further streamline cleaning, it comes with a cleaning brush and features a welded tank with a smooth peened finish. This unit is situated on adjustable 6-inch legs to account for irregular or bumpy flooring. The Pitco SRTG14-GM gas rethermalizer has a single 171⁄2-gallon water tank and is ideal for cafeterias, medical facilities, and other settings that reheat large batches of food to safe temperatures before serving. Its tank is equipped with a hinged cover to keep water vapor inside, and its temperature limit switch prevents overheating. For additional safety, it features a tank overfill protection feature; to remove water, it has a 1-inch NPT full-port drain valve.
