These natural candle holder vases are handmade in Kenya. They are hand-carved out of Kisii soapstone and then sanded until smooth. These feature an inner ledge to hold standard taper candles (the opening is approximately ⅞ inches wide). If the taper candle fit is too snug, try trimming up to 1 inch off the bottom of the candle for a better fit. These are also designed to hold dried flowers or botanicals as the center hole drops down within 1 inch of the base.
