"Cooling Blooms 12” x 9” x 2” acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas My florals consist of familiar flowers usually in ginger jars, painted with blue chinoiserie figures. I takes ample liberties with color and try to create my best impressionist/fauve or fauve/impressionist style of work. Hydrangeas are my favorite but all native flowers (and a few imagined) can make an appearance in these lush loose arrangements.
