Antal is making a new generation of snatch blocks that are simple, strong and easy to operate. The cheekplate revolves around the sheave axle allowing the block to open; a safety pin, which engages automatically on closing, stops the block from opening accidentally.• High strength resin sheave with composite fiber main bearing and double side ball bearings• Safety ball to stop the block from opening, with an adjustable screw to set the ball in the locked position• Hard anodized and Teflon® coated revolving cheek-plates, which open in either direction• Rounded eye for webbing is standard, plus SS inserts are available for a shackle or snap-shackle• Extra small eye on the cheekplate for a hanging cord• The block is easily dismantled for simple repair and maintenance
