ABOUT An original antique salvaged aluminum nautical spotlight from a working ship at sea. Can be hung directly from the ceiling. Four dogs secure the front lid onto the light fixture for easy changing of the bulb. A handle on top of the light that allows you to tilt the light. This light has been rewired with a UL-Listed bulb fixture, wiring and on/off switch so you can easily plug it into a wall outlet. The bulb base is rated up to 250 volts and 660 watts. This light takes a medium base bulb of 100 watts or less. CREATOR Unknown. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1940. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Metal, Steel, Glass. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use.
