Antique Articulating Art Deco General Electric Table Lamp or Sconce c.1920

ABOUT An antique articulating Art Deco industrial lamp with cast iron base, nickel plated stem and socket, aluminum shade and new gold, fabric cord. Can be used as a table lamp or a wall sconce.  Stem and shade articulate and adjust into an almost endless combination of patterns, and even features a fitting on the base to allow it to be hung on the wall.  CREATOR General Electric, Inc.  DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1920.  MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Cast Iron, Nickle Plate, Aluminum.  CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Cord in new. Dents on shade.  DIMENSIONS H 15.5 in. D 16 in., Shade: D 8 in. Diameter 7 in., Cord: 65 in.  HISTORY Unknown.
