Custom Platform Leather Fly Reel Case

Luxury meets function. This Italian leather case protects your heirloom reel from being crushed or pierced; the goat hide interior ensures the case will look great for generations. Each case is truly custom to the reel. Part of the redesign was to include a platform with holes for the knobs on the back plate to recess into. One of the main failure points on a case is the strap, so I have cut the cap closure from a single piece of leather. A magnetic snap holds it closed. Exterior: Chestnut or Black is cowhide from Conceria Walpier in Tuscany, Italy. British Brown is cowhide from the Hermann Oak tannery in MO, USA. Interior: Goat skin from the Alran S.A.S. tannery in Tarn, France. Standard colors are black and sunburst.
