A Kataeuchi Katana and Wakizashi in shirasaya, with matching koshirae, likely from the Edo period. The longer sword (pics rise to right) looks from the shape and nakago to have originally been a kodachi which was later shorted into a katateuchi, a one-handed sword, popular during the Muromachi period.  It is signed Norimitsu (則光). The wakizashi (pics rise to left) is signed Bishu Miharaju Kai Masahisa (備州三原住貝正久), a smith from the Kai Mihara School, who was active during the Tenbun Era (1532-55). Please note the dark blemishes on both blades.
