Like a bastion of tone, the Electronic Audio Experiments Citadel stands tall and strong for fans of preamp-style overdrives. Capturing the essence of ever-present British amplifiers of the '60s and '70s, this extensively adjustable overdrive is primed for players to get into the weeds with their tones for expressive sonic profiles. Rather than emulating any specific model of British '60s or '70s amplifier, Electronic Audio Experiments set out to capture the prevailing spirit of such amps with the Citadel.
