Foxboro FBM214 Hart Communications Module
General Features: The FBM214 offers eight input channels, capable of accepting either a 4 to 20mA analog signal or a digital HART signal superimposed on a 4 to 20 mA analog input signal. Each input channel is equipped with an FSK modem dedicated to bi-directional digital communications with a HART field device. It supports the HART universal commands necessary for interfacing field devices with the Foxboro Evo system database. Galvanic isolation of the group of 8 input channels from ground and module logic is provided. Designed with a compact and rugged build, suitable for enclosure in Class G3 (harsh) environments. Achieves high accuracy through sigma-delta data conversions for each channel. Incorporates a Termination Assembly (TA) for locally or remotely connecting field wiring to the FBM214. Specific Specifications: Operating at a voltage of 24V DC, the module consumes 2W of power. Features 14 analog input channels, compatible with a wide range of sensors and actuators. Light-emi
