Dutton Calvary Shank  Medium to strong severity. 2 copper inlayed bars of the mouthpiece connected by a barrel type hinge. Two bar pieces connected in the center with a barrel type hinge. Thismouthpiece has a slight amount of break in the center with both bar pieces functioning independently, allowing lift on one side at a time. It applies tongue pressure and has copper inlaid bars. Handcrafted in the USA Calvary cheek piece: Purchase: 2.5" Shank: 5" Cheek: 8" This bit encourages excellent collection and vertical(poll) functions. The bars of this bit are angled for Mullen Relief that makes a bit sit comfortably in a horses mouth.
