This 1910 poster was created by artist Michel Liébeaux, better known at MICH. It was he who invented the character of the bearded grinder, who sharpens his knife on a tire, stronger than steel, always accompanied by his dog. The character became so popular that he became synonymous with the company. The image is still well-known to this day. Particulars: This lithographic poster has been professionally conserved and backed on acid-free linen paper (see poster and print conservation and restoration)
