Montana Moon Posts ~ Sterling Silver ~ Montana Agate

The Montana Moon Earrings. Clean and Classic, these twin gemstones are set simply in reclaimed sterling silver—some of the most beautiful striped Montana agates. Gem grade. These guys have a classic agate presentation and rich hues of chocolate brown and chestnut. The back is cut out of each to let the light shine through.  Simply set 1 1/2'' x 5/8'' Handmade everything  Post style I reclaim a lot of estate jewelry that is in pretty rough shape. What can't be salvaged, I melt down, press with a rolling mill, hand-hammer and pierce, and then form into designs like the one you see here. I hammered them pretty thin, so these earrings are super lightweight. They are left purposefully rough and raw.
