Cyber and information security is becoming increasingly important within todays evolving and nebulous risk environment in order to secure sensitive information and enable organizations to communicate and function effectively. Disruptions to information flows, or the loss of sensitive information, can have far reaching implications on the resiliency and continuity of an organization’s operations, as well as create significant litigation and reputational risks. This leadership course focuses on both cyber and information security threats at home and abroad – supporting organizations in data protection by raising awareness and consequently reducing cyber-attacks or information loss. The course defines the typical perpetrators and the manner by which perpetrators plan and implement their attacks, offering pragmatic measures which help defeat, respond to and recover from cyber and information events.
