The leadership training program on Critical Event Planning: Looking Ahead at Predictable Risks is designed to support leadership teams on effectively planning and managing predictable critical events; such as elections, rallies, religious and political holidays, pandemic outbreaks, and forecasted weather patterns, so as to protect people, business interests, operations, assets and the wider reputation of the organization. This course assists management teams in strengthening organizational resilience, business continuity and recovery. The course looks at how critical event mapping can be undertaken by non-security professionals, what critical events mean, and the impacts they have; so as to create a systematic approach to preparing for such events, including meetings and communications, the use of plans and protocols, operational and business changes, and effective support and resourcing.
