The ability to activate a Crisis Management Leadership Team quickly and effectively can make a significant difference in the ability for the organization to be able to respond to, and manage, a crisis event. This program of instruction explores how the headquarters and locational management teams can work together to collaboratively manage a complex and fast moving crisis event, moving through pre-defined and logical steps in order to move from the notification of an event, to the resolution and transition from it. The course helps rationalize the priorities, the need to assess needs and risks, utilize policies, plans and protocols, leverage support and resources, include stakeholder needs, to project manage a crisis, and to communicate effectively throughout.
