Ireland - Cut Coin Earrings with Hare

Meticulously drilled and cut by hand from an actual Irish 3 Pence coin. It features an Irish Mountain Hare. Irish Mountain Hare is a close relative of the mountain hares of northern Europe and Asia, but are a distinct subspecies, being slightly smaller and lacking the white winter coat of their relatives. They are found in a wide variety of habitats across Ireland, but are most abundant in lowland pastures.
