Botvinnik Flohr series are quite popular amongst chess collectors and enthusiasts which had 2 variations which featured in Moscow Chess Tournaments of 1933 and 1935. BF-I is a reproduction of the famous chess match of 1933.     These chessmen feature a distinct design profile which is typical of soviet chessmen. They have broad bases with very lean shanks, making for a distinct yet elegant appearance. The chessmen play well on the chessboard with weight added at the base to increase its stability.
