Circa 1950-60's Soviet Russian Chess Pieces were a reproduction of the soviet chess pieces that were very popular in the chess tournaments and championships during that time.  This reproduction is unlike any other chess pieces that we have made. Curved shanks, sleek body, and an amazing knight make this a must have chess set for any collector or player. In order to increase the stability of the pieces, we have double-weighted the pieces using lead weighting.
