Water's Edge
"Water's Edge" was inspired by summers paddling at Fairystone Lake and Philpott Lake, investigating the edge of the water while the rest of the family fished. It is a print that brings the view to the interface of the surface and the underwater world of a lake. At first glance, the slider turtle can be seen taking a breath of air while a catfish swims just below. The top of the water has cut away at the bank, exposing moss covered tree roots and time-worn pebbles. Following aquatic plants down to the bottom of the water, with close inspection, a crawdad can be found hidden underneath an old log. What else could be living in the recesses of the plants in this freshwater ecosystem? "Water's Edge" prints are 11" x 15".
