Almost a decade ago, my best friend from college moved to NYC. That fall, she asked if I could make her a scarf that would be fashionable for New York, but would still keep her warm with the winter winds and snow. After multiple false starts, The Brooklyn Scarf was created. This design is subtle, yet modern. The bulky version creates a stiff knitted fabric that stands up to the cold exceedingly well! The scarf is also reversible, with the back having a rope-like appearance. It complements a wide range of wardrobes and is unisex. This pattern includes instructions for working the scarf both in the round, and flat! The circumference/length of the scarf is completely customizable (down to the inch), making it a great option for adults, teens and kids!
