Minimoog Trimmer Update Kit

The story is as old as... well your minimoog!: Your minimoog model D is in tune, and you move it to the next room and it's out of tune.... what a drag! This is because your mini probably has the tuning trimmer's it shipped with. For mini's with the "old" oscillator card (3046 based, 2 columns of trimmers), the trimmers are very old wire wound trim potentiometers that are affected by even the lightest touch or the capacitance of your screwdriver. They're extremely sensitive, and in most cases are damaged in the track area where the wiper rested for most of its life (the tuning "sweet spot"), which makes it near impossible to tune and scale. If it's a minimoog with the "new" oscillator card (3 columns of trimmers on rear panel), the trimmers are highly sensitive and as above, probably are damaged around their sweet spot. Our product creatively adds multi turn trim pots on custom adapter boards that position the adjustment screw on center, so the trims can still be accessed from the rear
