If you wish to shampoo first, towel dry hair before applying. Pour Henna Powder into a glass or plastic bowl. Use enough powder to cover all the hair it’s being applied to. *DO NOT USE A METAL BOWL OR UTENSILS* The quantity of the henna powder you need depends on hair length & texture.  Below is an approximate idea of how much you will need per application:  Short Hair (above ear) 50-75 grams (4+ tbsp same as 1/4 cup+)  Mid Length (shoulder) 75-100 grams (8 tbsp same as 1/2 cup.)  Full Length (lower back) 100-150 grams (16 tbsp same as 1 cup.)
