This piece was handmade/one of a kind, thrown on a wheel. Hand painted with Amaco underglazes and glazed on the inside and the base with two different glazes. This piece was inspired by a photo taken on my trip to Norway. The boat was docked on a beautiful reflective lake surround by a lush park with trees. I always wanted to create a painting from this memory. I love the base of this large mug! Screw head detail on handle. Made with Nara Porcelain. Holds 16 ounces - Food, dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe- Wheel thrown and altered- Lead freeHandmade ceramic mug. Fired in a gas kiln to 2,345 F (cone 10).
