Want to start a backyard orchard but don't know where to start. We have our recommendations for an excellent variety of fruit trees that pollinate together and grow in your zone- all these fruit trees grow in zone 4. The tree below are selected by the folks at Roots to Fruits Nursery and are all at least of the 'Field Ready' size. We recommend 15-20’ of spacing between the trees. As of July 20, 2025, we have ceased shipping bare root trees for the Spring 2025 Season. We will resume shipping bare root trees in November of 2025.
