Anthurium "Doc Block" F2 x Crystallinum
The item you are purchasing is the actual plant shown in ALL photos in the gallery. It may have grown or lost a leaf since it was photographed, we list plants same day or within a few days of taking pictures. Plants are packed with love and are typically shipped Mondays and Tuesdays. Anthuriums are rare and unique houseplants from all over the world, including Mexico, Indonesia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Columbia and more! They add a luscious and tropical vibe to any home or greenhouse space. Leaves emerge miniature and showcase deep colors ranging from vibrant red to vivid purple. Newly emerged leaves expand over time becoming bigger and bigger! The fun is wondering when it will stop, how BIG will this new leaf get! As leaves get bigger and the plant matures, you can encounter new and exciting characteristics. Once the plant matures it can then flower and with the help of you or an insect it will be pollinated to produce berries and seeds of your own! This is how hybrids are created, using the pollen from one plant on the flower of another. My favorite genus! CARE: Anthurium are very easy to grow tropical plants that require little care in ideal conditions. They thrive in moist chunky soils with high organic matter or sphagnum moss and grow best when provided with filtered sunlight. Indoors plants thrive at temperatures between 65°- 76°F. Some but not all Anthuriums need elevated humidity levels to produce healthy foliage. Light: Medium to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun. Soil: Well-draining, chunky, aerated soil. Top dress with sphagnum moss. Watering: Keep media slightly moist, mist lightly if needed. Humidity: Thrives in humidity greater than 60% but not required. Temperature: Warm. 65º – 85ºF / 17º – 29ºC. Avoid frost Due to the perishable nature of plants, I will not be taking returns or refunds and am not responsible for delays, weather damage, carrier damage etc. Yellowing leaves can be common shipping stress.
