ALFA Tube-UAC2 is a new long range outdoor 802.11ac dual band Wi-Fi USB adapter/client for Microsoft Windows computers. It is great for marine and RV use. In 2019, the number of RV parks and public networks offering 5 GHz Wi-Fi has increased, and there are advantages of connecting to the less-trafficked 5 GHz band. With ALFA Tube-UAC2, you can get a range boost to both 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. Note that because of FCC power restrictions on dual band radios, our long range single band USB clients like ALFA Tube-U(N) may get stronger signal to 2.4 GHz networks. If you are thinking about upgrading, the Tube-UAC2 offers faster connections to 802.11ac and 5 GHz networks but may have lesser signal to 2.4 GHz networks compared to Tube-U(N).This is the base retail version of ALFA Tube-UAC2 and it does NOT ship with an antenna.
