Minicryphaeus giganteus

This is a beautiful example of a Minicryphaeus giganticus. It is from the Pragian (Lower Devonian), found at Jbel el Maharch, near Maider in the AntiAtlas of Morocco.The trilobite is 2.65 inches long, 1.55 inches wide and 0.4 inches high. The trilobite with the matrix is 3.75 inches long, 2.95 inches wide and 3.0 inches high. The schizochroal lenses in both eyes are well-preserved.The right cheek has been restored. The trilobite will be mailed out in a customized container and screwed in place. There is a screw going into the matrix, but in no way does it compromise the trilobite.
