This is a completely enrolled specimen of Kainops invius  embedded in its original matrix. The trilobite is from the Cravat Member of the Bois d' Arc formation, near Clarita, Oklahoma, U.S.A. It is approximately 400 million years old (Lower Devonian, Helderbergian).Kainops is similar to Phacops except it has a longer glabella and it is similar to Paciphacops but has more eye facets. The schizochroal eye lenses are extremely well-preserved in both eyes. The trilobite measures 0.75 inches long-it is enrolled,  and 0.75 inches wide. The matrix and trilobite measures 1.65 by 1.4 by 0.9 inches
