The rollers are rubber to avoid slippage. Each roller has two bearings to allow the wheel to move smoothly and easily in ANY direction. Omni-directional wheels are unique as they can roll freely in two directions. It can either roll like a normal wheel or roll laterally using the wheels along its circumference.
