From England, dating to 1877 and with a London manufactured by George William Adams - Chawner & Co, may I offer this splendid pair of Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) asparagus tongs. With a fold-over tip at the bottom, the sides of the server feature a cutwork design of florals. The milgrain design on the handle is quite simplistic in its design and at the back there is an engraved monogram that looks like the letters N O T. Length is 9-1/2" on a straight line; width of the tong section is 1-3/16". Weight of the piece is 193 grams. Condition is wonderful with no problems I can spot.
