Here's a French ribbonwork floral applique, decoration or embellishment featuring a center floral of a buff-colored ribbon with a center of ochre/mauve and cream. The satin leaves are a pale lime green and the loopy flourish is a pink crinoline. Length is about 3"; width is about 1-1/2". Entirely hand sewn, to attach to your favorite piece, either sew on or add a pin to the back - this way, the piece can be detached before your item is cleaned. The ribbon bouquet is quite secure and is in no danger of falling apart. Uses? A dolls hat or dress, a blazer lapel, a dress, a lampshade .... the projects are endless.
