Dating to the 1980s/1990s or so, here's a 17" freshwater pearl necklace featuring a Sterling Silver (hallmarked as pictured) clasp. Looking like a kidney bean, you push down at the back of the clasp to release the tongue; when pushing back in to close, the clasp makes an audible click! In pastel tones of cream, pink, lavender, yellow and white, the pearls measure about 16mm to 19mm in length; thickness is about 10mm to 12mm. A beautiful strand of orbs that makes me think of Wilma Flintstone's large pearl necklace. Just so pretty! (JV#33)
