This modern wall quilt uses yardage to create a pieced quilt or applique quilt (applique in pink and gray example is raw edge fusible applique but turn-edge can be done as well). A template is included with the pattern for making the 6" circular pieces (it is a separate file you download along with the pattern). If you'd like to use a plastic template ruler, the actual quilts were made using the Creative Grids Circle Savvy Quilt Ruler (CGRSAV1) which could be purchased separately. The pattern is written for a wall size quilt of 40" x 50". Yardage needed is indicated on the back of pattern. Patterns are for use with your own cotton fabrics. The actual item being sold and downloaded are the PDF patterns for making the quilt, not the actual quilt or fabrics. This pattern is a PDF booklet of 8 pages (6 pages plus front and back
