JOY AND DELIGHT is a quilt pattern using decorative frames made from flying geese and little blocks, surrounded by a border of festive snowflakes. A more uniform statement is made with alternating blocks of two print fabrics or you can go for a scrappier look by using a layer cake with a wider variety of fabrics and framing colors. The quilt is sized 83 1/2" x 83 1/2" and is shown in Splendid by Robin Pickens for Moda Fabrics (but can be made with any fabric of your choosing). Snowflakes in the borders are created with joined strips that are subcut into smaller units. Patterns are for use with your own cotton fabrics.
