CRISS CROSS KISSES printed booklet quilt pattern, Robin Pickens, Lap or Queen

Xs and outlined Xs line up to make a lovely play of angles. This quilt pattern for CRISS CROSS KISSES is a printed booklet of a quilt pattern by Robin Pickens, shown using  Tulip Tango fabrics for Moda Fabrics (which ship to shops spring 2022), but can be made with your choice of fabrics. The pieces cut off in making the blocks are  used for the arrow heads that show up in the sashings and in parts of the bigger blocks. Extra arrow heads emphasize the movement and direction into the borders. The structure of the Xs can also be a fun place to try splitting color families or light/dark to emphasize a square within the larger quilt body. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes, a Lap/Wall of 63 1/2 x 63 1/2" or Queen of 96 1/2 x 96 1/2" (Lap size shown on wall on front cover).
