Tannins Water Test

Recommended for targeted testing of tannins in drinking water. Tannins are a naturally formed, organic material and are commonly described as "fulvic" or "humic acids". They form when vegetation is degraded and fermented, and then enters the water supply. This package is ideal for clients on well water–particularly those noticing yellow coloration, staining of fabrics, fixtures, and china. Tannins also often impart a musty/earthy odor in water and can lead to an unpleasant taste. This RKIN test package in collaboration with SimpleLab provides all required materials to properly collect and submit a sample for certified laboratory testing. Reported results will include a detailed, quantified analysis of tannins. Testing includes: Tannins by SM 5550B (or equivalent).
