AIS Plotter/Radar - Requires GPS Input & VHF AntennaThe Nasa Marine AIS SART Plotter is the first stand alone AIS receiver / plotter specifically designed for the leisure boat market.The unit consists of a dual frequency AIS receiver, demodulator, signal processor and a backlit matrix display. It receives an NMEA input (RMC) from the boats GPS which puts the user at the centre of a radar style screen. A COG pointer is selectable by the user. All AIS carrying vessels and SART transponders are displayed with bearing and range relative to the user. Any vessel on the screen can be selected by the user. The selected vessel is highlighted and its data displayed on the right of the screen.
