Round Pendant Necklace Silver, Hammered Silver Pendant, Sterling Jewelry, Solid Silver, Silver Chain Necklace, Primitive Pendant NecklaceAs I have an affinity to Ancient style jewelry, I try to adapt it to my own handmade jewelry. Granulation goes way back as far as the IV century B.C and was used by Mediterranean jewelers. I used it here on my pretty demure pendant.I hammered a flat disk to the shape of a dome, then soldered the tiny sterling silver granules around it to form the pendant. It was cast, oxidized at the rims, and polished. Finally I have added the thin sterling silver chain and clasp.* Diameter of the pendant is 23 mm.* Length of the chain: 18" Length can be adjusted upon request.
