2021 The Captain Red Blend

The Captain is a tribute to Kristen’s dad, Gregg Couch, who dedicated over 40 years of his life to the fire department. Having served as Career Captain, Fire Science Instructor, and Commissioner, he spent countless hours keeping others safe while training the next generation of firefighters. We honor and respect the sacrifice of the men and women who protect America’s communities on the front lines every day. Thank You First Responders! This unique local red blend was grown organically to highlight its sense of place. In order to guide this sense of place from the vineyards to the glass, only neutral French oak barrels were used for aging, imparting texture and maturity to the wine without compromising the expression of the fruit.
