Picks up AM stations clearly and loudly up and down the dial with external antenna attachment included. Cabinet is in near mint condition. Original factory painted ivory Bakelite. Just a few paint chips. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. This radio is almost 70 years old! The knobs are cool as heck bishop hats original with no cracks. The tuning knob works fine and smooth no slipping. The tuning station numbers are slightly rubbed off. Dial light lights up brightly! All paper and wax capacitors have been replaced with modern equivalents so this radio has another 50+ years or m
