Artisan Handcrafted Original Wood Philco 1946 Model 46-421 Vacuum Tube AM Radio Solid Construction and Sounds Great! DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM radio manufactured by Philco in the 1946 time frame.  CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original sculpted curved wood. The finish is factory original. Not refinished no touch up no over spray. Has been buffed and polish and treated with furniture polish. Has scuffs and age checking throughout due to age. Clear original tuning glass window is not cracked, no chips, nor yellowed with age. Original factory grill fabric is in very good condition with no rips, some surface fraying, yellowed with age. The front top seam is starting to bow but the construction is still very solid. The side and top wood pieces are very think chunks. The seam has developed because the wood pieces have bowed slightly over the years. The internal joints between the bowed pieces is still intact so it won't come apart anytime soon. The other wood pieces are not bowed
