This antique radio was manufactured and marketed by CBS as Model 2160 in 1959 time frame following then recent acquisition of Trav-ler company. If you were to ask someone to describe a flamboyant whimsical 50s looking radio, this is the one. The only design of its kind from the 50s! Sought after and getting hard to find. CBS 2160 models were usually molded in black or white. Sometimes the grills are factory painted blue, pink or yellow. A wonderful vintage tabletop vacuum tube AM radio in excellent working and physical condition.
