Great for protecting furniture from hot containers too Not recommended for use with metal which may leave metal marks Coasters may be cleaned t by soaking in hydrogen peroxide for about one hour. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry cork side up for 24 hours. Do not stack until completely dry
