This is an old, traditional Ethiopian woolly ethnic hat. My aunt apparently acquired it there as she was a church missionary in the 60s. Debre Tabor is a town in north-central Ethiopia, her handwritten note says she acquired it there in 68'-70' FREE standard shipping to the 48 contiguous United States
